Of course, the most important man on the ship is the Head Cook, Scotty Swistchew. Assisted by Jerzy Plata, they keep the food coming, and prepare it well. Saturday is supposed to be the best day of the week for chow, and tonight we had grilled steaks (on an outdoor barbque) and king crab legs. One thing that’s always on the menu is "stuff”, either "lotsa stuff" or "more stuff" or "other stuff" ... you get it. Scotty said by the end of the cruise, the menu will consist of "Stuff, stuff, stuff, stuff, and Spam". He is very funny, and always cheerful. He loves to tell Scottish for Irish jokes. Jerzy doesn’t seem to speak much English, but he always serves us with a "bon appetit", which must be Polish for "more potatoes?"
